At the heart of every successful comedy lies the natural, often exaggerated, interactions between the four major personality types — the controller, the analyst, amiable and expressive. In Seinfeld, Jerry plays the analyst, George, Newman and the Soup Nazi alternate as the controller, Elaine plays the amiable, and Kramer, the expressive.
Given this simplistic framework, which of these characters do you think resides at the top of the social spectrum and why do you believe she/he belongs there? Conversely, which do you assign to the bottom and why do you believe he/she belongs there?
If called upon to join the cast, which character do you think the producers would ask you to sit in for?
Taken a step further, if your self-perception is in concert with the producer's, do you think you should consider changing your persona or will you be content keeping things just the way they are?
