WikiExpert is a global community that allows you to read the best articles written by Experts, join communities that matter to you, get the help that's tailored to your needs based on what helped others like you before, book sessions with professionals and discuss your problems with Experts and others like you.

We offer support you can trust and we show you what helped others with the same problem as you. You can see how it works here. 

What is WikiExpert talk?

WikiExpert talk allows you to chat with the Experts, schedule and run video sessions, make automatic payments, and more. 

How can I register on WikiExpert?

Registering on WikiExpert is easy, all you have to do is click the ‘’Register’’ button on the top right corner of the page. From here, you can sign up using your email address, Facebook, Twitter, or a Gmail account.  

Is it free to register on WikiExpert?

Registration is completely FREE! You only pay the Expert when you book sessions.

Why do I need to validate my email address?

If you don't validate your email address, your account will be disabled after 2 months. Validating your email address will also be beneficial for you as you can receive tips and newsletters if you wish to. So, to continue enjoying all we have to offer, please validate your email address.

What is the "Discuss with Experts"?

Here, you can ask questions and get answers from Experts and join communities that matter to you for FREE. 

How do I ask a question?

Simply click on "Ask a question". You will then be prompted to either "sign up" or login. 

Do I have to sign up to participate?

Yes, to ask and answer questions, you will need to have an account at WikiExpert. Which you can create for FREE. 

How much will it cost to ask a question or participate in a discussion?

It is completely FREE to ask as many questions as you like and answer/participate. There are no hidden costs. So, take full advantage of this opportunity.

Can I participate anonymously in the "Discuss with Experts" groups?

Yes, absolutely! You have the ability to set a username that will be publicly displayed and this does not have to be your real name. 

Do I have to upload an image of myself to use the "Discuss with Experts" groups?

No. The system has available avatars. You can choose one of these. 

How do I tell the difference between others like me and Experts?

We make a clear distinction between Experts and users. The professionals' responses are highlighted in green and their business type such as "Counselor" is displayed. This makes it easy for users to determine between others like them and professionals.

What online services can I expect from WikiExpert?

At WikiExpert, we provide personalized help and support to meet your specific needs. For example, parenting challenges, relationship problems and more.

How do I join communities of my interest? 

All you have to do is click on the plus sign next to the topic of your interest for example: relationship, marriage, dating, parenting, etc. You'll be prompted to either sign up or log in. From here, you'll get a personalized feed whenever you log in to your WikiExpert account.

How does my personalised feed work and how do I access it?

Based on your interests and activity, you will get a personalised feed of similar articles you've liked and shared in the past from your favorite Experts. All you have to do is log in to your account and click on the "my feed" icon to access your dashboard.

How do I know how many others found articles helpful? 

On every article, you'll see the number of readers who have found the articles to be helpful and also how many have shared them. 

How do I mark an article as helpful?

You can help others by stating what you found helpful! Scroll down to the bottom of the article and you'll see a box asking "Was this article helpful to you?" All you have to do is click on yes and then log in to your WikiExpert account.

How do I find the right Expert?

You can search for articles that are related to your problem and from here you can read and determine which Expert would be the most suitable for you.

How can I ensure I'm receiving the best help on Wikiexpert?

At WikiExpert, we strive to provide trustworthy and reliable support. You can take a look at what others found to be the most helpful.

How do I find an Expert that's within my budget?

View the pricings of the Experts you think would be suitable and from here you can choose which one falls within your budget. 

How do I contact an Expert?

You will see a "Message for free" button on all the Experts profiles. All you have to do is click on it and you can chat with the Expert directly. 

How can I book a session with an Expert?

Once you have chosen your preferred Expert, all you have to do is make sure you are registered and click the ‘’Message for free’’ button. You will then be able to contact the Expert to schedule a convenient time for both parties.

Can I chat and/or send files to my Expert before a call?

Yes. Once the session has been scheduled, you can use WikiExpert talk to chat with your Expert and send files.

When do I pay for my session?

If the Expert requires payment for the session, you must pay for the session in advance of its scheduled date and time.

How do I make a payment?

We use Stripe. You don't need an account to make a payment. All you have to do is enter in your credit/debit card details and make the payment.

What currency do I have to pay in? 

Depending on your location, you will see the following currencies: 

  • UK: GBP;
  • Europe: EUR;
  • USA and the rest of the world: USD.

When you pay, via Stripe, the value might be subject to being converted (based on international exchange rate).

What is the 3D Authentication when I'm trying to make a payment?

Depending on your country and bank, you may need to authenticate your payment and verify it. You can get more information on Stripe about this.

I'm in a crisis and I require urgent assistance, can someone help me?

If you're faced with a situation that needs urgent assistance, please contact your local authorities immediately. 

What can I do during a session with my Expert on WikiExpert talk?

Once in the session, you’ll be able to engage in a video call, share your screen, share files, and message your Expert in our built-in messenger.

I'm camera shy and don't wish to turn on my camera during my sessions?

No problem! Just turn off your camera before you enter a session with an Expert. 

How do I share my screen?

Download the WikiExpert talk screen sharing extension from the Chrome store to be able to share the screen. Download it here. 

Why can't I screen share with the Expert?

Unfortunately, at this time our screen-sharing extensions only work on a desktop on the Chrome or Firefox browsers. 

How does the like and share feature work? And why should I use it?

Once you are registered as a Client, you'll be able to like and share your favorite articles. By doing this, you will also get recommended readings based on your preferences.

Is WikiExpert selling user data with other companies?

No. WikiExpert cannot use your data for advertising or share your data with any other third party. You can view our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy here. 

What are the device and browser requirements?

WikiExpert supports the most recent versions of the following browsers on computers or smartphones.

•Google Chrome (recommended)

•Safari

•Firefox

If you're using an older browser, updating your browser can help solve any type of problem. For video sessions and using WikiExpert talk, we highly recommend using Android with a Chrome browser, as it works best. However, WikiExpert talk works on all devices and browsers.

What is WikiExpert?

WikiExpert is a global community for expertise where Clients can get support they can trust, we show them what helped others with the same problem. Your publications are the key to a polished profile page, keeping Clients engaged and always updated with your latest work. You can also attract them into booking sessions with you by helping and answering questions in the "Discuss with Experts". Clients can also book sessions with you directly.

What is WikiExpert talk?

WikiExpert talk allows you to chat with Clients, schedule and conduct video sessions, receive automatic payments through Stripe, and more.

Who Can Register on WikiExpert?

Registration on WikiExpert is open to everyone! If you have personal experience or Expertise that you believe could benefit others who may be facing similar challenges, we welcome you to share your knowledge on our platform.

How much does it cost to register on WikiExpert and use it?

It's absolutely FREE to register, have a full profile, and upload as much content as you like. 

How can I apply to become an Expert?

Registering on WikiExpert is easy, all you have to do is visit the "Are you an Expert" page. From here, you will need to click on the button that says "Register for free". Please do not use the "Register" button on the homepage as this is for Clients only.

Why do I need to validate my email address?

If you don't validate your email address, your account will be disabled after 2 months which means you could lose out on business. Validating your email address will also be beneficial for you as you can receive newsletters and tips on how to get more Clients.

What is the "Discuss with Experts"?

These are discussion groups in which users can ask Experts, like you, questions, so that you can help them, showcase your Expertise and increase your chances of getting booked for online sessions.

How will I benefit from using the "Discuss with Experts"?

This is your chance to attract Clients into booking sessions with you. They have the ability to view your profile, read your articles, message and book sessions with you. Use this as an opportunity to grow your online business.

How can users determine between Experts like me and other participants?

We make a clear distinction between professionals, like you and users. Experts profiles are highlighted in green and the business type is displayed such as "Counselor". 

Do I need to be logged in to answer questions?

Yes, you'll need to be logged into your Expert account in order to answer questions. 

Do I need to complete my profile and publish articles to be able to answer questions?

We strongly recommend that all Experts complete their profiles and publish some articles before answering questions. Users have the option to view profiles, so it would be best to make a good and professional impression and it'll encourage them to book sessions with you. 

How much does it cost to use the "Discuss with Experts"?

It is completely FREE to answer as many questions as you like. There are no hidden costs. 

Can I ask a question as an Expert?

Yes, absolutely! You have the ability to ask questions even as a professional.

How do I create a profile?

Once you have registered as an Expert, make sure you add a professional headshot, this will help you stand out as a true professional. In your "about" section, you need to highlight your skills, qualifications, professional background, and services/rates. Remember, a fully completed profile helps you stand out better and win more Clients.

What is a publication and how do I add one?

Publications are written by Experts like yourself. It helps you stand out and attract potential clients. You can add a publication if you're logged in by just clicking "add article". 

How do Clients join communities and how will it benefit me?

When Client's join communities that matter to them and when you publish an article based on that topic, it will appear in their personalized feeds whenever they log in to their WikiExpert account. As an Expert, you're also welcome to join communities that are of interest to you.

How does the personalised feed work and how do I appear in the Clients feeds?

Clients engage with interesting articles, mark them as helpful and share them. All you have to do is publish good content regularly. Then, whenever you publish a new article, you will appear in their personalised feeds and it will prompt them to book sessions with you.

How do I know how many Clients and readers found my articles helpful?

Clients have the option to mark what they found helpful. This number will be displayed on your articles and profile along with how many have shared them.

Will I be notified when a Client would like a session?

Yes, once a Client has clicked your ‘’Message for free’’ button, you will receive an email. Here you can communicate with the Client directly and schedule a convenient time for both parties.

How do Clients find me? 

You will need to ensure that your profile has the appropriate tags that are relevant to your business type and also have some publications. When Clients make searches then your profile and publications will appear.

How does the dashboard work and how do I appear in the Clients feeds?

Clients engage with helpful articles and like and share them. All you have to do is publish interesting content regularly. Then, whenever you publish a new article, you will appear in their dashboard and it will prompt them to book sessions with you.

How do I ensure that my profile shows up when Clients make a search?

Using the right tags which are appropriate for your business type and publishing articles regularly using tags in your articles will increase your chances of appearing when Clients make a search. 

How do I schedule a session with a Client?

Click on the calendar icon and schedule a time that's suitable for both you and the Client. Remember to click on "paid session". If it's a free session, then don't tick the box. 

Can I cancel my session with a Client?

Yes, you can. Click on cancel session.

How do I set my fee and charge Clients?

You can set your fee on your profile and charge this fee to Clients before scheduling a session. 

What currency can I charge Clients in?

You can charge Clients in EUR, GBP or USD. 

Please note, that depending on where your Clients are based, they will see it in the following currencies:

  • Clients in the UK see your prices in GBP;
  • Europe: EUR;
  • USA and the rest of the world: USD.

The value that you charge might be subject to being converted (based on international exchange rate) and rounded when displayed to Clients.

How do I accept payments?

You can accept payments through Stripe. You can create an account with stripe.com and then easily accept payments from Clients.

How will I know when a session has been paid?

You will receive an email notifying you that the session has been accepted and paid for.

Can anyone see messages that are exchanged between myself and the Client?

No, only you and the Client can see the messages that were exchanged between the two of you.

Can I share/send files during my session?

Yes, you can! Click on the file icon at the bottom and share files with your Clients. 

How do I share my screen?

Download the WikiExpert talk screen sharing extension from the Chrome store to be able to share the screen. Download it here. 

Why can't I screen share with the Client?

Unfortunately, at this time our screen-sharing extensions only work on a desktop on the Chrome or Firefox browsers. 

My camera isn't working during the session?

Before entering the session, ensure that you have clicked on enable my camera. And also ensure that you allow your browser to enable your camera.

Why do you ask for my physical address if sessions are entirely online?

We require your address for billing purposes. It will never be displayed online or publicly.

What are the device and browser requirements?

My video call is slow/it’s difficult to see/hear on the video call - what’s wrong?

There could be a variety of reasons why your video call is slow and it’s difficult to see or hear on the call. Some possible reasons for this include a slow internet connection, an incompatible browser, or older hardware (laptops, computers, tablets, or phones). We recommend ensuring that you have access to high-speed WiFi, use Google Chrome, and new hardware.

Guidelines for using the "Discuss with Experts"

General guidelines for using the discussion group:

  • Please be respectful towards other users and Experts;
  • Keep your answers short and to the point;
  • Don't share any personal information such as phone numbers, email and physical addresses;
  • Don't write your questions and answers in all capital letters;
  • We do not compensate users for participating in the discussion groups or being members of the community;
  • No promotion of other groups, businesses, websites, or people;
  • Users under the age of 18 are not allowed to participate;
  • No profanity is allowed when discussing; 
  • Use proper spelling, punctuation, grammar and end with a question mark;
  • Do not shame or insult other participants or professionals;
  • Ensure that your answers are not copied from other users.

WikiExpert has the right to remove and delete accounts that violate the Terms of Service. 

No questions or answers that are:

  • Racist;
  • Political matters;
  • Of a sexual nature;
  • Promotion of weapons and explosives;
  • Violence;
  • Hate speech;
  • Illegal substances.
