When I was younger, I battled with shyness and social anxiety. I never thought I fit and always felt I was the person on the outside looking into the world of everyone around me living their lives and being themselves.
I longed to be myself.
I always hid behind a mask and only those really close to me, knew me for me. I never felt comfortable being me. It was not that I didn't love myself, I just didn't know how to be myself, faults and all.
Meditation woke me up. I had been searching for myself through books, various religions, and friends, but the one true friend was there from the beginning. The one true answer I needed was there for me since my birth...me!
Meditation helped me to discover this. I discovered that within me was the power to transform my life. Meditation was home. I was welcomed back to me, the true self.
This journey with meditation took away the self-doubts and the fears. It made me who I am today and effectively do what I have been doing for over 17 years. It opened the door to my eyes and heart and brought me back to myself.
Add to myWE:
Now I am happy to stand strong in the woman that I am today, faults and all. I have opened myself up to life and each day I welcome and grab the opportunities that come up for me.
Self matters - when you become aware of this and allow yourself to take the journey inwardly to discover this, life opens up for you.
Success is not just an outward job, but an inward job too and the more you become aware of how important you are on your journey to success, the easier it will be.
I would not be here today, helping thousands of people across the globe, had it not been for taking that big step back to myself.
Give it a go. Make today the day you say 'Yes!' to you and start that true journey to success both personally and professionally.
