I am a 23 year old professional psychologist, sounds like I have my stuff together right? That's a big no. I have had depression... since I left the womb. To put it lightly I've been through things. Just like we all have. However no medication, meditation, family or friends could save me. That is until I met a 10 year old 20 pound Fiji water drinking toy chewing spoiled rotten shelter dog. You could say she rescued me however, because since I've had her I've had purpose. A reason to go out side. A reason to get up. Waking up to a few nose licks and a paw to the chest.. life couldn't be better.
