At the age of 48 I decided to go to university after a long and happy career. I obtained a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Criminology, Policing & Forensics, graduating in 2017. At the same time, I obtained a diploma in CBT Counselling along with some smaller studies to support the knowledge I gained. I enjoy helping people overcome difficulties - and I have had problems in the past myself so understand and can offer help based on personal experiences as well as from a completely professional approach.
Experience in general CBT Counselling, but also an interest in ex-offenders
I have been supplying online therapy on an ad-hoc basis for the last 10 years, and have many happy clients and references to support this. Although I am not registered in a professional capacity to BACP or other bodies, I am genuine and guarantee your privacy and I respect confidentiality boundaries that go beyond a professional capacity. My therapeutic approach is to guide you through your issues, working together to establish a better balance and overcome problems.
