The fast-paced world we live in has made it harder than ever to achieve balance in our lives.

It is, however, possible to get out of this stressful rut of fatigue, frustration and unfulfilment and bring our life back in BALANCE.

Two years ago (Jan 2019), I learned the hard way that nothing is worth more than my health. I was totally burntout due to chronic stress from losing 11 (yes, it is true) family members, from chaning 2 jobs and moving eight houses, having a long distance unhelpful relationship with my boyfriend (now husband) and working in a job that was taking more from me than what I was getting in return!

I had a realisation that I needed to do something, change the way I live or it will consume me whole!  We each have a choice about how we use the time that is given to us. I decided to use it to educate myself about MYSELF! Thus, began my journey to self-discovery and ultimately led me to becoming a Life Coach. I want to use the knowledge I have gained to help as many people as possible to get out of the hole (read unhelpful lifestyle) they have fallen into. You see since I have been in that hole myself, I can jump in it with you and teach you how to get out. 

The key to living a good life is BALANCE. We all take on several roles and responsibilities during our Lifetime. Balancing our energy and time in these areas of life is very important to maintain our overall health and sanity. We cannot always be on the GO!

Let me introduce you in this article to the areas of your life:

  1. RELATIONSHIPS (Friends & Family)

In order to feel like we have lived the best life and feel fulfilled, we need to participate in all these AREAS OF LIFE. We need to spend time and energy to identify our core values and ensure that the goals we set in all life areas are aligned with those core values.

This takes time and practice. However, the return on investment you gain, upon giving yourself this space to do the work, is immense!

So I encourage you, look at your life and see which areas are you focused on? Which areas have you missed? Which ones are holding you back?


Most of the times, unless we are faced with some sort of crisis, we live life in one or two areas without paying any heed to the other areas.

Although we each have different interpretations of what a balanced life would look like, for most people it would mean - to have time available for doing the things we love and are passionate about.
