Going from the classroom to being stuck at home sounds like most children's dreams come true, they can sleep in and stay up late and play all the time. Thankfully, every child has three hours of online learning a day which brilliant, but sometimes an individual may not understand a topic initially; building a barrier. But learning from home may initially seem like a daunting task, however, with tuition, it can actually be beneficial for a child. Being at home enables children to feel relaxed which allows them to learn increasingly well by having no fear of judgment from peers and gaining a new perspective.

In these challenging times, we are all so grateful for the amazing work all the key workers, including teachers, who are educating the youth of today and the future generation. It is vital that all children continue to learn so that they do not forget what they were taught at the beginning of the year, otherwise, they may feel overwhelmed when it comes to commencing the normal school time table. One positive that we can take away from this whole experience and so can all students, is that they are able to adapt to change and become resilient with their attitude towards learning and embracing change. I personally would love to help any individual who may require may assistant in English Literature/ Language and Maths either through Zoom or telephone conversation/WhatsApp call and email.

I do not have any professional tutoring qualification, however, throughout the first year of sixth-form I sometimes assisted GCSE students with their coursework and sat in on some classes. I also help my 9-year-old sister with her homework regularly and she always is able to understand the work far better and produce a higher quality of work once she has had someone speak through the questions and go through her work to give corrections. I am passionate about learning and truly believe that education is the key to knowledge and power. We are lucky to have such a high quality of education in this country and I am truly passionate when teaching as I think it is important that everything taught should be understood.

I hope everyone is keeping well and safe during the pandemic and wish everyone all the best with homeschooling their children, patience is key! Even though the current circumstances have aroused fear amongst many, there will be better days to come but in the meantime this is a perfect opportunity to take a well-deserved break from the usual busy schedules.
