Clients can contact you directly using the "MESSAGE FOR FREE" button on your profile.
Once they have sent you a message, you will receive an email notification.

Log in to WikiExpert and click the button that says "talk".
Here you can read your messages. You can chat to Clients,
send and receive files.

Schedule a session

Plan a suitable time for your session and click on
the calendar icon to schedule it.
Enter the session details, date and time.
If it is a paid session, tick the box and fill in the rate.
Don’t forget to connect your Stripe account to
accept payments.

Jump into a 1:1 session

On the scheduled day and time of your session, click on the
box that says "View session" and then click on "JOIN".

If you'd like to screen share during your session, you will
need to use the Chrome browser on a computer and
download the WikiExpert talk screen sharing extension here.

Plan your session

Set reminders for your next session, so that you don't forget and be punctual. Don't show up later than the scheduled time. You can also connect your calendar when creating a session.
Prepare notes and other materials that you need to present during your call. Keep everything ready including the things you want to present.
Ask your Clients to present you with all the questions they have or if there is anything in particular they need so that you can plan ahead.
Dress professionally, you need to impress your Clients.

Control your environment

Test your connection and device in advance to prevent any issues during the call. It's also wise to have a backup, such as another device to use or a different network.
Ensure that you have proper lighting so that Clients can see you.
There should be no noise in your background or anything that'll cause a distraction. Conduct sessions from a study room and at a desk with nothing in the background, so that your Clients focus is on you only.
Keep track of time! WikiExpert talk displays the duration of the call, so that you don't exceed the session limit.
