My approach is down to earth, client-centred, and strength-based. I am trained in body-centred, mindful and cognitive approaches to deal with personal, family and relationship issues. My practice is also informed by discoveries in brain science. Working together with curiosity and respect we clarify goals and take steps towards change. Over 30 years I have helped people of all ages overcome barriers, get clear on what they want and move towards it
I see clients by phone or zoom. We talk about what is bringing the client to counselling and their goals. We collaborate in trying to establish and maintain a safe, respectful relationship as the anchor for our exploration of issues. This means listening carefully and attuning to your thoughts, feelings and being mindful of the unique personal and cultural experiences that have influenced your development. My approach is encouraging and includes mindful present moment experience.
