How I work
Interactively - I don't believe in blabbing on while the students idly sit and listen. My lessons are hands-on, and students are expected to participate and apply the new information and skills they learn. As a classically trained actor I also have a flair for less common tools, such as role plays, mock interviews, and fully immersive sessions (read: delivered exclusively in the target language), if the student benefits from them. I work 1:1 or in small groups, and have experience teaching both adults and teenagers with a moderate level of learning difficulties (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia). What sets me apart from other tutors or teachers are, more than anything, my people skills. I believe in creating a genuine connection with students, which results in them learning so much more quickly and easily - 'engaging' is the number-one word my happy clients use to describe me!
