Did you know that 22 million people every week are looking at jobs posted on #LinkedIn? Does your #LinkedIn profile match the skills outlined in the job posting?
In my opinion, your LinkedIn profile needs to clearly indicate what positions you would be interested in applying and accepting a job offer. The labour market today more than ever in the past has shown people are changing employers more often than any other time in labour history. Also, many employers are hiring potential candidates before the stated closing dates.
How to you get your LinkedIn profile to be noticed is by using key words and skills that is related to your profession in that industry. Your LinkedIn profile is a synopsis of what you can do and what you have accomplished in your career. LinkedIn is a powerful tool to engage conversations to address future hiring needs of employers, connect with job posters and learn more about the people who work at the company. Many people are missing out on potential job opportunities due to how their information is presented on their LinkedIn profile and using their settings effectively.
