Working from home is frowned upon by many and many in the UK right now are not looking forward to the changes that the government has announced last night which will be in force from next week.
But if you are someone who is looking at the 9 to 5 as a stop-gap before starting their own business or becoming an entrepreneur this could be a very blessed time. The time you are not spending on travel to and from work, you are able to spend taking action on tasks that you would really love to do.
Imagine, having that bit more time to spend on you and what you would love to do!
Heaven, I bet!
But also this a good training ground to see how you manage working on your own and not constantly being around your work colleagues. You are in the driving seat of managing your day and working for yourself. It gives you insight as to how you want to manage your working day.
It's all about changing your mindset and making it work for you.
The key to making it a success is to set the times of work, rest and play. These 3 things are important in life and when you have a balance that looks after your mind, body and spirit it enables you to be more proactive, confident and ready to take action where needed.
Add to myWE:
So utilise this time to gain that balance in your life. If you dream of more than just your regular corporate role, use those quality non-travel times to take action on this goal. Be the action taker you need to be and create that balance that is going to make you effective in all areas of your professional and personal life.
It doesn't have to be all doom and gloom, so lighten up and make the most of the time that you have been given to make your dreams come true.
