Self discovery the choices we make the Journey of life and what we want out of it
If I have learned nothing else, I have learned this. Questions matter. Ones asked to others, but more importantly, the introspective ones that cut to your core and tell you something about who you really are. They can be the lighthouse safely guiding you in the fog to land.If you are anything like me, you have spent a shit load of time believing the limitations that others set for your life. The “gotta’s” on the path. You gotta go to college. You gotta get that job.You gotta live in this city if you want to make it.Although this advice is well meaning, it is, for the most part, false. Given by those who probably never took real risks in their life, and so they want you to take the safe route as well. The problem with the safe route is it is usually in contradiction to the life you want. Nothing truly innovative or purposeful comes safely. It takes risks. But most importantly, it takes curiosity to examine the status quo to see if it has any real weight.
Your success is your invitation to discover, uncover and master the most phenomenal resources you possess within you right now: determination, passion, drive to learn and grow the courage and the desire to live life at its deepest most powerful level. This journey is about becoming who you always were meant to be, you better know yourself but drive you what you are passionate about, what you love, what you hate and what excites you the more effortlessly it is for you to achieve what you want to be fulfilled. We have to appreciate that it isn't what we get that makes us happy but who he becomes. And who we ultimately become is a choice we get to determine the quality of our experiences. I believe that on some level each of us feels an inner hunger for something more. Each of us has an inner knowing that there is another level of living that is possible.
Where are you in your journey of life?
Before we can create change and anything we must first assess where the desire of our changes is. How can we measure the success of our train unless we can measure the before and after? We must focus on identifying the most important areas of our life's journey. These will be the areas you will focus on to improve both in your personal and professional life. These are the areas that if you were not to transform the quality of life would suffer or be compromised they are the areas of your life that you were to transform you would feel levels of success and fulfillment you can only imagine life is nothing more than a series of choices that we make for ourselves to meet our even not choosing is a choice every choice we make has consequences and these consequences can be empowering or disempowering. The important thing is to blame ourselves if we made a poor choice but to become aware of the choice and be thankful for the choice and to notice any pattern in our choices once we're done so that we can see a blueprint for how we shape our life. If we like the blueprint we would keep our pattern of choice. If we don't like the blueprint then we need to learn how to make different, more empowering choices. It's now time to make new empowering choices if everything in life can come down to being a series of choices, would now be a good time to make choices that empower you that make you happy that would prepare you closer to where you want your life to be take the time right now to write down some new choices that will empower you lead you to New beginnings allow you to get rid of some old things that you have been tolerating give you the freedom to explore to love to learn to grow to give. What is the new choice as I now choose... What are the positive consequences of these choices? What will your life look like in 3 years 5 years 10 years time if you keep making choices like these?
Things that matter the most will never be at the mercy of things that matter least!!
There's a few questions you can ask yourself to help you discover if you're where you need to be.
