Career success means doing the kind of work that you like to do, rather than accepting or staying with a job because you don't know what else to do. Many people are engaged with jobs for no other reason than because they need to earn a paycheck. Oftentimes, a person's line of working doesn't actually define their actual personality. Do work that you enjoy is less stressful and more satisfying. How can people transistion from a more stressful job to a job that offers greater fulfillment?
A career doesn't always mean working for someone else. In some cases starting a business might be the answer. If that's the case, you might want to consider what steps you've taken so far to accomplish this goal. If you haven't taken any steps to accomplish this goal, you should take some time to figure out why that is the case.
No matter if the right career for you takes on the form of being an employee or a business owner, it's oftentimes necessary to acquire additional education. In some cases that can just be a matter of independent research. Other times that can mean going back to school again. Have you been wanting to earn a certificate, diploma or a degree so you can enter into a new career? How much effort have you made so far in trying to get that accomplished? What factors do you think might be holding you back?

Understanding the factors that might be preventing you from reaching your goals will help you to overcome them. It's best to use small obtainable goals (or actions) that gradually lead to the accomplishment of a big goal. Take time to consider your current strengths and assets that will help you along the way.
