As a little girl I endured so much pain growing up. People say how can God have healed me of a heart condition and then say he didn't rescue  me from my abuse I was enduring. You see, God has His plans for you as He says in Jeremiah 29:11. The Enemy does everything in His power to separate us and kill off his goodness. What we have to understand is there is a purpose for your pain. God will use your past and pain to give you wisdom, strength and maturity to sustain the calling of God on your life. In order for God to use your pain it’s important that we learn to have resilience. Resilience doesn't mean you don't feel hurt, pain, or anger. It just means that you bounce back before the situation takes over. Kind of like a rubber band stretched out of place and then it goes right back to its position. We should also strive  to have courage as well. Courage is not the absence of fear but it requires fear. Courage is the willingness and or determination to act in spite of your fear. Courage will change your life because you won't let fear hold you back. You are able to stare down your fears.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV

We learn endurance from all the trials we go  through. Endurance is a great quality to have and helps us to experience trouble, storms, trials, and temptations that we all go through.  That's just life. Try not look at only what is happening to you. Try to learn how you can grow, and get stronger from it. This is Endurance. Besides, there is never a testimony without a test. You will never endure alone. In the Gospel of Mark 4:35-40 Jesus calmed the storm.

A long time ago, I also learned to not let fear get in my way! Press on! Don't sit there and allow fear to keep whispering in your ear. Get up and move and fight through that lie! Fear is a liar!

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV

This is the bible verse I spoke over and over to move fear out of my life. Forsake means abandon. He will never leave nor abandon his children! I have to trust the word of God!
Once we get a hold of resilience, courage, and endurance, and let fear go, God will use our pain for good. We will still go through things and there will still be times when we go through things that will make us feel like we are so far away from God. When you feel like he is no where, move that w over to the left because he is really now here!

There is so much darkness around us. All you have to do is turn on the news. The world is darkened by sin. There is so much pain and suffering all around us. We as Christians carry the light. It's time we bring light to the darkness. We need to use our pain for good to make a difference. It's time we pray, fast, read and study the Bible and start quoting scriptures to these things and start showing the love of Christ. The darkness will flee once we bring the light of Christ. It's like a bunch of roaches in a dark room. They are nasty and gathered all together and all over the place but once the light is turned on they run. They are gone. They scatter. The enemy is the same way. He can't stand to be where the light of Christ is. Start shining your light!

Even though I have endurance, courage, and resilience, I am human and sometimes I don't feel like I can keep going but I know I have to. I choose to keep moving forward no matter what even if I have to crawl to get there. We will all get tired but it’s important to do what God has called us to do. Never say I can't because if God has called you, you are more than capable.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

I was not qualified, but I was called. Don't use any excuses! God worked on me, and here I am. God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called! So, I challenge you to step out in faith and do your calling. Go make a difference. Live your dream. Dreams do come true.

Just remember this little girl that I was talking about in the beginning (me) that went through so much abuse, as I stand for other little ones that have no voice at all right now to get out of their abuse. In addition, there are grown adults still dealing with that little child inside that is wanting to heal and forgive.

Look at your past and say "thank you for teaching me" and then look at your future and say "let's go! I'm ready!
BE THE HANDS AND FEET OF CHRIST!
