Assessment of Attributions for Career Decision-Making
Evaluation of the reliability and validity of the Assessment of Attributions for Career Decision Making (AACDM).
Three studies evaluated the reliability and validity of the Assessment of Attributions for Career Decision Making (AACDM), a measure of an individual's attributional style for career decision making. Factor analysis of the AACDM supported a three-factor structure consistent with attribution theory. Additional psychometric support for the AACDM included adequate internal consistency estimates and test–retest reliabilities and evidence of the measure's construct, criterion-related, and incremental validity. Suggestions for ongoing development of the AACDM and recommendations for its use in career counseling and research are discussed
