I will introduce some mindfulness breath meditation methods that I learned from my spiritual masters. These methods help me achieve relaxation, recovery and joy.
Mindfulness methods bring our minds to the present state. In the present state, our minds become alert and aware. Pain and perplexity occur when our minds are caught up in thoughts of the past and the future. Uncontrolled painful thoughts from the past and future, are also the cause and roots of mental illness and suffering.

Mindfulness helps us connect to the bliss that is already present inside us. Through mindfulness, we create a distance from our thoughts and emotions and merge with our inner light of consciousness. Mindfulness raises clairvoyance and intuition through consistent practice.
The breath is our vital life force and it is the bridge between us and the universe. Controlling our breathing patterns helps us align our energies with the cosmic energies of the universe. This is one of the reasons why breathing is heavily emphasized in mindfulness, breathing meditations, exercises and relaxation techniques.

Method 1: Listening to the sound of the breath
Steps:
Step 1: Sit in a comfortable place, close your eyes, keep the mouth close and breathe from the nostrils.
Step 2: Take a deep breath and listen attentively to the sound of the breath entering you.
Step 3: As you exhale, listen attentively to the sound of the breath leaving you.
When you pay attention to the sound, you may realize that the breath sounds like the waves of the ocean.
Benefits:
It keeps our minds peaceful and improves our ability to listen. When we talk to someone, we can empathize deeply with them and feel their unspoken pain and joy. We can listen to our own inner voice(intuition) clearly.
Method 2: Breath Visualization
Steps:
Step 1: Take a deep breath and imagine breath entering into you in the form of golden light.
Step 2: As you exhale, imagine your breath leaving your body in the form of dark clouds.
These dark clouds represent any form of thoughts and feelings that are causing you pain.
Step 3: Tell yourself that you are recharged, delighted and full of energy after this practice. You may say this more than once to give yourself strong affirmations.
Benefits:
This method is useful in self-healing the mind and the body.
Method 3: Tasting the breath
Steps:
Step 1: As you inhale from the nostril, feel the essence of the breath touch the tongue.
Step 2: As you exhale, feel the essence of the breath touch the tongue again.
Alternative step: We can place our attention on the throat. Focus your attention on the throat and feel the breath moving in and up from the point.
Benefits:
This method makes us more loving, encouraging and inspiring during communication. It increases our ability to handle arguments mindfully and communicate effectively. It keeps us calm and helps us communicate using clear perceptions and intelligence. Your words will flow smoothly like water.
Final Words
These methods can be done from a minute to an hour. Doing it for a minute is still a great practice. It is good to keep the eyes and mouths closed for better focus.
These methods can also be practiced even when we are watering a plant, writing or doing any actions. Regular practice of mindfulness meditations leads to positive growth and outcomes.
I trust that these three mindfulness breathing methods will help in centering and achieving a state of balance. An inner state of balance is essential for overcoming challenges and achieving positivity, success, and happiness in our life.
