According to the Oxford Dictionary, mindset is, "The established set of attitudes held by someone."  These acquired attitudes affect how you see the world, things, and people (including yourself).  There is a right and a wrong mindset to have if you are serious about moving forward with your life in 2020.

Until you have the right mindset for success, you will stay where you are.  For some, this will mean staying in a comfortable place/state.  However, there is no progress in the embryo of your comfort zone.  As said time and time again, it is only a crazy person that will do the same thing day in, day out, and expect a different outcome!

Stanford University Psychology Professor, Carol Dweck developed a theory on the two mindsets she found during her extensive research on how people succeed.

According to her, there are two main types of mindset; a fixed mindset and a growth mindset. Someone with a fixed mindset believes that people have a fixed amount of intelligence and avoids dealing with problems for fear of not being able to solve them, whereas a growth mindset person, identifies opportunities and growth from problems.

People with a growth mindset believe that new skills and habits can be learned and developed through practice.

Nevertheless, things are not that simple because people tend to have a mixture of both mindsets. It is possible to have a fixed mindset in one area and a growth mindset in the other. I can help you develop your fixed mindset.
