Job Seekers are often told to “find jobs that fit your skills & experience” while “applying to companies whose values and corporate cultures fit yours.” Almost every job seeker is aware of the most common places to find and search for jobs, and often these job boards get flooded with both good prospects and those prospects who are taking a chance and hoping their resumes land into the hands of a hiring manager, regardless of if the role fits. 

Top job boards like LinkedIn Jobs, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Glassdoor, LinkUp, Google for Jobs, Monster, and CareerBuilder fall victim to a flood of applicants and although they are used by top companies, and job seekers who are a great fit for the position very often will get found, niche job boards also exist where job seekers can turn away from the customary places where “everyone” is applying for jobs, and stand a better chance of landing an opportunity.

These boards are more specific and focus on factors like industries and locations to find unique talent by listing the job openings of companies that fit certain criteria.

Criteria: Media

Since it is an enormous, widely distributed, mostly free online classified ads site, you can find jobs from employers you won't find on most job boards because the platform is very visible but also inexpensive for small employers to use to post their opportunities.
