Are you insecure? 
If you answered yes to that question you'll be surprised about what you can do to change that. 

If you answered no or maybe, still listen because what I'm about to tell you can change your whole way of life and thinking. 

- The #1 reason of why people are so insecure is because of how they speak/think about themselves. Literally that's all ! How you speak/think about yourself and others unconsciously gets trapped in your paradigm of life. Therefore if you constantly speak bad about yourself, even if jokingly. You will naturally just feel bad about yourself and look at yourself in a bad way. That will cause you to become insecure even if you can't recognize it. 

How can you change ..

The easiest way to change this is to simply alter your thinking/speaking. Try to speak positive about yourself and others, and if you can't don't say anything at all. You have to be mindful of the things you say and think and if you occasionally slip up, simply notice it and change that thought or what you said to something positive. Don't beat yourself up about it. Don't put to much pressure on yourself. We are all human and no one is perfect.
